What’s the market doing?   It's an undeniable fact that property prices are falling- even in the ever sought after South West! This does not mean that we are about to fall into a recession.  A readjustment of the market seemed inevitable as far back as the heady days of last Summer.  What goes up will eventually come down again to an extent, but the long term trend, decade upon decade, is that property values will continue to grow.  A readjustment of the market may help some first time buyers to secure a foothold on the property ladder and this in turn will help to ease the market again.  There are plenty of properties for sale and many of these sellers are also looking to buy, so prices are relative for many people.  As the underlying demand for our area is still strong, buying should be seen as a long term proposition. There are a number of active buyers, some with no related sales.  Some sensibly priced properties are selling. However, prospective  buyers will by-pass properties that are still being advertised at last summer’s prices!

Home Information Packs. These are now required for the marketing of all properties (with very few exceptions such as new build).  You cannot begin to market the property until a pack has been commissioned.  The pack must include an Energy Performance Certificate.  Please contact us for further information or for a pack quotation.

Property Videos.  Does your property merit more than just a few static photos to show it to its full advantage? We can provide a widescreen DVD of your property for marketing purposes.  We are also working with a company to provide high quality marketing discs, complete with high definition stills and video.
